Manchester United’s summer signing Leny Yoro has resumed first-team training after being sidelined by injury for the first three months of the season.
Yoro suffered a serious foot injury during a pre-season friendly against Arsenal while on the club’s US tour. He underwent surgery to address the issue, which has postponed his expected competitive debut.
Following a positive update on social media last month, the Frenchman has been seen training fully for the first time since the season began.
United’s official website confirmed that Yoro participated in an open session with his teammates in preparation for the Europa League match against PAOK on Thursday.

Signed on a five-year contract by Erik ten Hag in July, Yoro has yet to make an appearance in a competitive match under the recently dismissed Dutch coach.
Since Ten Hag’s dismissal, Ruud Van Nistelrooy has taken interim charge of the Red Devils, leading them to a resounding EFL Cup victory against Leicester City before playing out a 1-1 draw with Chelsea in the Premier League.
With Van Nistelrooy set to be in charge for one more game, Yoro now has only one chance to feature for the Dutchman before Ruben Amorim takes permanent charge on Monday.
While Yoro’s exceptional talent is sure to enhance the Portuguese coach’s defensive options, the 18-year-old lacks extensive experience in a back-three, which is Amorim’s preferred formation.
Yoro was joined in training by Christian Eriksen, who missed United’s last two matches against Leicester City and Chelsea. Meanwhile, fellow center-back Harry Maguire is injured, along with the team’s only two senior left-backs, Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.
