Galatasaray assistant coach Ismael Garcia has expressed admiration for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, lauding his seamless integration into the club since joining on loan from Napoli this summer.
The former LOSC Lille forward has been quick to make his mark with the Yellow and Reds, netting six goals and providing three assists across eight appearances in all competitions.
His contributions have strengthened Galatasaray’s attack, added to their recent successes, and made a strong impression on their European campaign.
Garcia praised the Nigeria international for his down-to-earth approach and willingness to adapt to Galatasaray’s established squad, which has won consecutive championships over the last two years.
Speaking to the BBC, Garcia said, “He’s been smart and humble since he arrived here. Our squad has had continuity, with most players together for two seasons, but he has come in not as a typical star but as part of the team, showing humility and hard work.”
Osimhen’s dedication has already paid off, with notable performances, including two goals in a recent Europa League clash against Tottenham Hotspur at RAMS Park.
Galatasaray’s faithful will be eager to see how his season progresses as he continues to shine on both domestic and European stages.
