Premier League clubs considering ex-Manchester United boss for managerial comeback

Former Manchester United boss David Moyes has been linked with a return to club management with a couple of Premier League clubs interested. The 61-year old who last managed West Ham United is due to return to a coaching role soon, with about four clubs potentially interested.

Premier League bottom side Southampton who recently got promoted to the Premier League after defeating Leeds United in the Championship play-off final have been linked with a potential move for the Scottish manager. They have struggled to find their feat in an intense league with just four points in their first eleven games putting manager Russell Martin under immense pressure.

Fellow newcomers Leicester City who were promoted after winning the EFL Championship under former boss Enzo Maresca have also been linked to the ex-Everton manager. They have struggled for consistency this season with ten points in their first eleven matches. Steve Cooper who joined in the summer after Maresca left for Chelsea has to turn around results in the next few games to avoid being shown the exit door at the King Power Stadium.

Another side that has been reportedly linked to David Moyes is Crystal Palace. Austrian tactician Oliver Glasner who replaced Roy Hodgson last season has failed to replicate the form that made the Eagles finish in the top-half of the league. They have just seven points from eleven league game placing them 18th on the log.

English Manager Gary O’Neil is also under fire at Wolves after an underwhelming start to the season. They are 19th on the table with six points and have conceded the most goals in the league this season. Moyes has been tipped to replace the misfiring O’Neil who has been under scrutiny for his side’s poor run of results.
