Tottenham Hotspur star ‘attracting’ interest from Real Madrid, Man United and Man City

Tottenham Hotspur right-back Pedro Porro is reportedly attracting interest from European heavyweights, Real Madrid, Manchester United and former club Manchester City.

Real Madrid are prioritizing the addition of a right-back next summer, with Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, who could be available for free next summer if he decides to run down his contract at Merseyside, their top target. If Madrid fail to secure the England international, they are expected to turn their attention to Porro.

According to reports, the Spanish champions may face stiff competition for the Spaniard’s signature. AS (via Sport Witness), reports that both United and City are monitoring Porro’s situation closely.

Manchester United’s interest reportedly stems from new manager Ruben Amorim, who coached Porro during their time at Sporting CP. Porro initially joined Sporting on loan in 2020, later making the move permanent, and went on to make 98 appearances under Amorim, tallying 12 goals and 20 assists. The pair are said to maintain a strong relationship, fueling speculation about a potential reunion at Old Trafford.

Manchester City, meanwhile, are also linked with their former player. Porro spent three years contracted to City, including a two-year loan stint at Sporting, but never made a senior appearance before moving on permanently. With current options Kyle Walker, now 34, and Rico Lewis in rotation, City may see Porro as a long-term solution at right-back.

Despite the interest, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is reportedly hesitant to entertain offers for Porro. Any negotiations are expected to start at a steep price of €70m (£58.3m), reflecting Spurs’ reluctance to part with the 24-year-old.
