Former Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona have been offered the opportunity to sign Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United.
Since Portuguese tactician Ruben Amorim took charge of Manchester United last month, there has been a lot of talk about transfers, both incomings and outgoings.
This is because some of the players have struggled to fit into Amorim’s system, while others have proven to be unreliable.
Several stars like Marcus Rashford, Joshua Zirkzee, and Casemiro have been linked with exits recently.
Now, even Argentine youngster Garnacho has been added to the list. According to Transfer News Live, the 20-year-old forward has been offered to Barcelona, but coach Hansi Flick has rejected him.
Since coach Erik Ten Hag was sacked, Garnacho’s game time has reduced. And it will likely reduce in the coming weeks if his performances do not improve.
Garnacho is valued at around €50 million and is considered as one of the best young forwards in the world. If he does not live up to his potential, Manchester United could be forced to sell him off to another club and not even Barcelona. Moreover, the Manchester United hierarchy will be looking to add some quality to their side, and the sale of some players in the squad would be needed to finance those deal.
