Arsenal are reportedly considering a swap deal with AC Milan to secure Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze, according to reports from Milan Live.
The deal could see Polish defender Jakub Kiwior move in the opposite direction as part of the arrangement for the swap.
The Super Eagles attacker, valued at €20 million by AC Milan, has struggled for consistent playing time since his summer move from Villarreal. Arsenal are reportedly keen on the 24-year-old, who offers versatility on both wings and could provide much-needed depth in the absence of Bukayo Saka, who is currently sidelined with an injury.
Meanwhile, Jakub Kiwior has also found game time hard to come by at Arsenal this season. The 23-year-old joined the Gunners last year but has been unable to secure a regular spot in Mikel Arteta’s line-up.
A move to AC Milan could offer the defender a chance to revive his career, with the Italian club reportedly in need of defensive reinforcements.
The proposed deal would benefit both players and clubs, with Arsenal addressing their need for attacking reinforcements and AC Milan strengthening their defensive options. However, it remains to be seen if both parties can reach an agreement before the January transfer window.
