English winger Bukayo Saka has sent an appreciation message to Arsenal fans following his successful surgery to correct a hamstring injury.
Saka has been a consistent performer for Arsenal for the past three seasons. This season, he has contributed nine goals and 13 assists in 24 appearances.
Unfortunately for him, he sustained a hamstring injury last week, in Arsenal’s Premier League game against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. The 23-year-old forward played 24 minutes before he was taken off due to an injury which was later confirmed to be a hamstring problem.
Due to the severity of the issue, Saka underwent surgery on Saturday. And after the surgery, he sent a message, thanking Arsenal fans for their support.
“The majority see obstacles, but few see the opportunities. Recovery has begun and I’m coming back stronger. Thank you all for your messages,” Saka wrote.

Saka is expected to be out for at least two months, meaning that Arsenal will have to manage until March before they get their star man back.
In their first full game without Saka on Friday, Arsenal defeated Ipswich Town 1-0. Gabriel Martinelli played at right wing, but he was not effective enough.
With the January transfer window set to open, the Gunners are expected to sign a new right winger. They have been heavily linked to Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze.
