Juventus agree on deal to sign France’s World Cup villain

Juventus are set to complete the signing of French star Randal Kolo Muani in a loan deal for from PSG with no option to buy.

According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, deal has been finalized for the 26-year old with Muani set to fly to Turin this week for medical tests.

The France international had been wanted by both Tottenham and Manchester United but has instead opted to move to Italy. Subsequent reports from across Europe claim that manager Thiago Motta was instrumental in helping Kolo Muani come to his decision.

The French player has only seen few minutes of playing time in the French capital, with just two Ligue 1 starts this season, having made 13 last term. In his time at the Parc des Princes, Muani has scored 11 goals in 54 games.

Prior to his stint in Paris Saint Germain, the 26-year-old was prolific at Eintracht Frankfurt, where he scored 26 goals and registered 17 assists in 50 games, but has since failed to recapture that form. In Italy, he will hope to get back to terrorising defences.

Muani is poised to complete his move in the coming days. Juventus will be in action against Milan on Saturday, and he could make his debut against their arch rivals if the deal is finalised in time.

The 26-year-old is one of the most maligned French players. And that is due to his last-minute miss against Argentina in the final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
