German forward Jamal Musiala is set to sign a contract extension at Bayern Munich despite speculations linking him with a transfer away from the club.
Musiala has been in fine form for Bayern Munich since he broke into the scene four years ago. The 21-year-old star has registered 57 goals and 37 assists for the Bavarians in 187 appearances.
He has been a consistent performer for Bayern Munich, but there have been talks that the Germany international could leave the club soon amid links to other top clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City.
This is especially as he has refused to sign a contract extension at the club despite having just 18 months left on his current deal.
However, the speculations surrounding his future are set to end, as Transfer Deadline Day reports that the former Chelsea Academy man is set to agree on a deal with Bayern Munich.
This will automatically end the speculations linking Musiala with a transfer away from Germany.
Most German national team players tend to spend their careers in Germany, and it is expected that Musiala will follow suit. Bayern Munich are also expected to conclude extension deals for Alphonso Davies and Joshua Kimmich in the coming weeks.
