Al-Nassir are reportedly keen on signing Paris Saint Germain target John Duran from Aston Villa.
Jhon Durán (21) has been Paris Saint-Germain’s primary target sun the start of the current transfer window as the French side look to bolster their attacking options for the reminder of the season.
As per reports, PSG were close to agreeing personal terms with the Columbian’s entourage, but convincing the player’s club has been a difficult tasks after the English club reportedly rejected a verbal offer of €75 million.
It appears, PSG are not the only club interested in signing the striker, as Saudi Arabian side, Al Nassr recently joined the race. French journalist Santi Ona confirmed the clubs intents via X.
“Paris Saint-Germain had made a verbal offer worth 75 million euros to sign Duran, and it was rejected by Aston Villa. Now Al-Nasr Club is entering the race, The player is interested in the idea of playing in Saudi arabian.” he said
Duran joined Aston Villa in January 2023 from American outfit, Chicago Fire scoring five goals across 23 appearances in his first season in the English Premier League.
With just two weeks left of the January Transfer window, it remains unlikely Aston Villa will be willing to release the 21-year old. However, a move to Saudi Arabia could see the Columbian team up with former premier league players, Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane
