Nigeria have been handed a favorable draw ahead of the 2025 African Cup of Nations, with the Super Eagles drawn to face Tunisia, Uganda and Tanzania.
The showpiece event which is scheduled to host later this year in Morocco from the 21st of December till the 18th of January 2026, has seen the three-time champions placed in Group C where they will do battle with the Carthage Eagles, The Cranes and the Taifa Stars.
The Super Eagles finished second in the 2023 edition, narrowly missing out to host Ivory Coast 2-1 in the final, and will hope to get their hands on the trophy for a first time since 2013 when they defeated Burkina Faso 1-0 in the final courtesy of a Sunday Mba’s goal.
