Jurgen Klopp’s camp break silence over Real Madrid speculations

Jurgen Klopp’s agent Marc Kosicke has poured cold water on increasing speculation linking the Former Liverpool boss with a move from Red Bull to become the next Real Madrid manager.

Recent reports from Brazil suggested that Klopp had grown disillusioned with his current role as Red Bull’s head of global soccer and was considering a return to coaching, with both the Brazilian national team and Real Madrid touted as potential destinations.

The rumors intensified after Real Madrid’s Champions League exit to Arsenal, with multiple outlets reporting that the club was preparing to part ways with manager Carlo Ancelotti and had identified Klopp as a possible successor.

However, Klopp’s agent, Kosicke, was quick to quash the growing rumors when contacted by Sky Sports Germany: “Jurgen is very happy with his new role as head of global soccer at Red Bull,” Kosicke insisted.

Reports suggest Klopp has received multiple offers to return to management next season, but the German is not interested in taking on a new coaching role in the near future.

As for Madrid, their attention appears to be directed elsewhere. Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso, has long been viewed as the ideal successor to Ancelotti and Los Blancos officials are now stepping up efforts to secure his services ahead of next season.

Unfortunately for the reigning European and Spanish champions, orchestrating Alonso’s return to the Bernabeu may prove a tall order with Bayer Leverkusen president Fernando Carro de Prada emphasizing in a recent interview that the Spaniard will remain at the Bay Arena next season.
