Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek has shed lights on the permanent transfer of Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen to the club.
What Ozbek said:
Speaking in an event as quoted beIN SPORTS, the club president said: “85 million people in Turkiye come to me with the same question. We are in a race right now, the race in football is not over. Transfers are at the beginning of June.
Nobody should think about who to buy or sell. We are focused on the field as we have 5 matches ahead of us. We are working to win all 5 matches and make our fans happy”, he continued.
“There is no transfer on our agenda right now. We will share our thoughts when the time comes.”

Osimhen’s impact in Turkey
The Nigerian striker joined the Turkish giants on a season-long loan deal from Italian side Napoli last summer, after talks of a move to Al Ahli and Chelsea failed to materialize.
Despite initially struggling, the 26-year old has reinforced his status as one of the most lethal attackers in the world, scoring 33 times while also providing eight assists.

The former Lille striker’s brace in Galatasaray’s 4-1 win over Sivasspor in the Turkish League on Saturday moved him to 33 goals for the season, surpassing his previous season’s best of 31 goals at Napoli in the 2022/23 season.
Osimhen’s 24 goals in the league is three more than closest challenger Krzysztof Piatek, with only four rounds of games remaining.
Galatasaray are also on course for a league and cup double, currently eight points ahead of second-placed Fenerbahce with four games left, with a cup final date against Trabzonspor on the 14th of May.
Can Galatasaray sign Osimhen?
The Turkish side are desperate to retain the services of the Super Eagles forward, although Napoli’s asking price of €75 million is a huge challenge.
With Osimhen not in Antonio Conte’s plan, he could remain at the Turkish side or favor a move to the English Premier League.
