Lamine Yamal to become Barca’s highest paid player with new deal

This week the 17-year-old and his representatives, including Jorge Mendes, were seen leaving the La Bonaigua restaurant in Barcelona, accompanied by legal advisors. Mendes spoke briefly to reporters outside the restaurant, revealing that Yamal is set to stay at Barca.

What Mendes said.

While leaving the restaurant, Mendes told reporters: “Of course he is going to renew, there will be no problem. He is happy. He is going to renew soon, rest assured.” He added: “Lamine is the best in the world and will win the Ballon d’Or.”

Lamine Yamal to wear the iconic No 10 jersey

As per Memorabilia1899.co, Barcelona are now reportedly set to hand the teenager the famed No. 10 jersey, which is currently worn by Ansu Fati. The Guinea-Bissau-born star was termed as the original heir to Messi. However, his untimely injuries have meant that he has fallen far down the pecking order at the Catalan club and may now be set to leave in the summer.
