Chelsea sealed a return to the UEFA Champions League after a two-year absence after securing a hard-fought 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday afternoon.
England international Levi Colwill scored the only goal of the game five minutes into the second half, to earn the Blues a fourth-placed finish on the final day of the season.

With all ten matches taking place simultaneously, Chelsea needed a win away at City ground against fellow UCL hopefuls Nottingham Forest to book their spot in next season’s competition.

A poor run of form had seen the Tricky Trees drop out of the top-five spot ahead of the season’s finale, making the clash against the Blues one to watch out for.
In a game of few openings, Pedro Neto blasted over from close range for the Blues before Chris Wood wasted a good opportunity for Forest in the closing stages of the opening half.
Five minutes into the second half, the Blues took the lead when Levi Colwill tapped into an empty net from a Pedro Neto’s attempt.
The goal was the 22-year old’s second league goal of the season, and definitely one of the most important of his career.
Chris Wood missed another attempt to equalize for the hosts late in the game, blazing over the crossbar from inside the area.
Enzo Maresca sealed out the important victory to book their spot in next season’s elite club competition, while it was disappointment for Nottingham Forest who could only finish seventh, enough for a spot in the UEFA Conference League.

What next for Chelsea?
The Blues are off to the Stadion Tarczynski Arena for a date against Spanish side Real Betis in the Conference League final on Wednesday, before heading to the United States for the Club World Cup in June.
