Arsenal loanee Albert Sambi Lokonga’s path at the Emirates has been inconsistent. The midfielder is now looking forward following a season-long loan at Sevilla. One thing he craves, though, is stability.
Although the future is unknown, Lokonga calmly and clearly describes what he wants next.
What lessons has he learnt?
The ex-Crystal Palace player claims he has no regrets about his prominent move to the North London side under Mikel Arteta.
He spoke to Standard Sport, “I learned a lot.” The Belgian midfielder thinks that following Arteta helped him develop mentally and technically.

Though his development was not always steady, every loan period—especially the most recent one at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium outfit—was an important turning point in his football instruction.
Where next for his playing career?
The 25-year-old has a little more time as his Arsenal contract runs until next summer. Still, uncertainty remains.
“Right now, I don’t know where I’ll end up,” he continued. “I need a club where I can stay for two or three years, to play and develop again.”

He reveals: “If I leave Arsenal, I’d love to stay in Spain.”

Though the Belgium international still unsure of his destination, he knows what he wants: stability, playing time, and a clean slate. Whether in Spain or elsewhere, he is prepared for a fresh chapter in his career.
