Paris Saint Germain winger Desire Doue has revealed he takes his inspiration from Brazilian winger Neymar Junior, ahead of this weekend’s UCL final against Inter Milan.
The 19-year old aims to follow in the footsteps of the Brazilian star, who won the Champions League under PSG’s boss Luis Enrique, during their time together at Barcelona in 2015.
What Doue said
“I’ve always been inspired by Neymar, [Lionel] Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, different types of players and different personalities.

As a kid, Neymar was always my favourite and I would always try to recreate his moves. I just try to play my football and be myself on the pitch, doing what comes to mind at each moment and in each phase of play”, the youngster revealed.
Doue has had a stellar debut campaign at the French champions, with 13 goals and 15 assists in all competitions this season.
“It’s definitely the most important match of my career, by a long way! Some players will never play such a match, so I’m positive going into it, and I’m preparing with the team. Personally, I’m very excited about playing in this final, and I really want to bring the trophy back to Paris”, he added.
“It will take all the qualities of the group and a mentality like we’ve never shown before. We’ll go there to fight to win this trophy and we’ll leave everything on the pitch.”

Who will win the UCL?
The final of the competition takes place on Saturday in Munich, with the French side hoping to complete a first-ever treble after claiming the French league and cup double.
Inter Milan on the other hand will look to bounce back from the disappointment of losing the Serie A on the final day to Napoli, with a first European title since 2010.
A fascinating matchup pits the Parisiens star-studded attack against the Nerazzurri’s rock-solid defense, in what promises to be an exciting encounter in Munich.
