Bayern’s Bryan Zaragoza set to join Real Betis on loan

Bayern Munich loanee Bryan Zaragoza is on the verge of becoming Real Betis player for another loan spell. This is to further add creativity to the Andalusia outfit.

What went wrong for Betis last season?

The Estadio Benito Villamarin side saw a challenging finish to their 2024–25 season. Their poor run of results prevented them from qualifying for the Champions League.

Chelsea beat them 4–1 in the UEFA Conference League, to further aggravate their woes. The club is changing directions for the next season even with the setback.

As August is fast approaching, Manuel Pellegrini and his staff are now reinforcing the roster.

Why is Zaragoza joining the Glorious?

The Spanish winger, now a player of Bayern Munich, is once more on the move. He spent Osasuna’s latter half of last season exhibiting flashes of genius.

He is now ready to rejoin La Liga, this time with Los Verdiblancos Heliopolitanos. Reports from Infanteria Verdiblanca indicate that Pellegrini squad and Bayern have come to an agreement.

For the 2025–26 season, Zaragoza will join Betis on a one-year loan. The agreement provides an approximately €10–12 million option to buy.

What next for both parties?

The Malaga-born forward’s stay at Bayern was not according to schedule. However, this new phase at Betis presents a new chance to spark his career.

Should he play well, a permanent transfer might be the ideal result for every party involved. The Seville-based club will also be welcoming free agent goalkeeper Alvaro Valles next month.

The club is getting ready for a better season with fresh faces and increased drive.
