Paris Saint Germain forward Ousmane Dembele has revealed his ultimate goal between winning the UEFA Champions League or the Ballon d’Or.
Despite his strong Ballon d’Or prospects after an emphatic campaign, the French winger stated that his focus remains on the UCL.
Dembele’s ballon d’Or chances
After struggling in his debut campaign last season, the former Barcelona winger has been an integral part of Luis Enrique’s side this season, contributing 33 goals and 13 assists as PSG claimed the French Ligue One and Coupe de France double.
The 28-year old has scored eight times in the UCL this campaign, propelling Les Parisiens to a first final since 2020, when they lost out to Bayern Munich.

Dembele’s impressive campaign, puts him in the running for the 2025 Ballon d’Or which is scheduled to hold in September, potentially becoming France’s next winner since Karim Benzema in 2022.
What Dembele said
“When you are a PSG player, what’s important is to take home the silverware such as the Champions League,” he said. “I am focused on the team, not individual trophies. It [Ballon d’Or] is in the back of mind, but I want to focus on the team.
Since January, we have really had a change of mindset and we want to continue now and get the victory and we are very excited about the game”, Dembele continued.
“Inter is a wonderful team that deserves to be in the final. They are physical, know how to defend, how to get up front, so we have a strong opponent. I’ve prepared well for this final. Since I was a kid, I’ve been dreaming of playing in this game.

We have to remain concentrated on the game, on the team, on myself. I hope we’ll be able to produce a fantastic performance”, he concluded.
Can PSG win the UCL?
PSG’s UCL hopes relies on the brilliance of their midfield and their fluid attack, against a very resolute Inter Milan defense.
Les Parisiens will hope to avoid another setback after 2020, by defeating the Italian side to lift a first-ever title.
