Paris Saint Germain secured a historic UCL title when they produced an emphatic display to thrash Inter Milan 5-0 in the final on Saturday night.
Achraf Hakimi, Desire Doue (2), Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Senny Mayulu, all got on the scoresheet as Luis Enrique’s side won the trophy for the first time in the club’s history to complete a historic treble.
Tale of the match
Billed as the battle of the French champions fluid attack versus the Italian side’s rock-solid defense, PSG came out on top to produce the biggest margin of victory in the final of the UEFA Champions League.
Morocco defender Achraf Hakimi opened the scoring to tap home from a Desire Doue’s cross in the 12th minute.
Doue, who had on Friday revealed his desire to win the UCL, turned scorer minutes later when his shot deflected in off Federico Dimarco.

Ousmane Dembele produced an exquisite no-look pass to set up Vitinha, who assisted 19-year old Doue to score his second of the night and PSG’s third after the break.
Kvaratskhelia joined the party with Les Parisiens fourth in the 73rd minute, before substitute Mayulu produced a brilliant finish off the post to round up the five-star performance by the French side.
The 5-0 victory completed a historic treble for the French side as they also won the UCL for the first time in the club’s history.
Luis Enrique also became the second manager after Pep Guardiola to complete the treble with two different teams, after winning it at Barcelona in 2015.
PSG make history
PSG’s 5-0 over Inter Milan was the biggest-ever margin of victory in the final of the UEFA Champions League, while they also won the trophy for the first time after also coming close in 2020 when they lost to Bayern Munich.
