Adrien Rabiot has praised teammate Mason Greenwood, saying the former Manchester United winger had the ability to equal Jude Bellingham’s rapid rise.
Following an amazing loan at Getafe, Greenwood became Olympique Marseille’s permanent recruit in 2024.
What did Rabiot say?
“If he hadn’t had all of his problems, I think he’d have an image like Bellingham,” remarked the France international to The Athletic.

“Mason would be the star. Because he’s an exceptional player. He can score with his right foot and his left foot, he has an exceptional shot, he can dribble.
“We’re very lucky to have him. When he’s really focused, he does really great things,” he concluded.
Across all events this season, the 23-year-old has scored 22 goals for the Olympians.
Why Greenwood left Old Trafford?
Man United suspended the versatile winger in January 2022 following severe accusations. Though all charges were subsequently dropped, the club determined he could not continue at Old Trafford.
