Florian Wirtz has made it evident he came for victory at Liverpool. The Red’s record signing claims his relocation is entirely about ambition, success, and growth.
Wirtz revealed on the club’s official website, “I’m not coming to have fun here. I want to achieve something and give the fans what they deserve.”
Coming from Bayer Leverkusen after a brilliant run is the 22-year-old midfielder.For the Bundesliga team in 197 games, he scored 57 goals and provided 64 assists.

Currently, he’s concentrating on leveraging that momentum at Anfield.
He added: “Of course I want to keep going at this performance. That sure gives motivation to achieve more.
“I would like to win everything every year. First, we have to do our work. I have to do my work. In the end, we want to be successful,” he remarked.

The German continued: “Last season they won the Premier League, so my goal is for sure to win it again. And also to go further in the Champions League.”
Part of the attraction, he also stressed the English Premier League’s physical demands.
“This was also a big point for me,” he explained. “I will improve my personal and physical level. Everyone knows that at Liverpool the players are machines—really strong and really physical.

“I just thought this was the right place for me,” he declared. “I’m really excited to have a new adventure in front of me.”
Though it wasn’t simple to leave the Bundesliga, Wirtz found the Premier League challenge too good to pass over.
“I wanted something completely new. To go out of the Bundesliga and to join the Premier League,” he concluded.
