Moeka Minami from AS Roma has signed Brighton & Hove Albion Women’s paper.
After helping Roma win back-to-back Serie A titles in 2023 and 2024, the 26-year-old Japan international arrives.
Minami brings major experience to the Seagulls’ backline. Having been instrumental in the Giallorosse’s national dominance, she has demonstrated competence at both global and European levels.

Manager Dario Vidosic said he was eager over the fresh arrival.
“It’s great to welcome Moeka to the club,” he remarked. “She has got vast experience both for her country and in Europe with Roma.”
He is sure the defender will have an almost instantaneous influence.

Vidosic added: “She will be an exciting addition to our squad.”
Ahead of the next campaign, the club is already trying to fit her into the team.
“We are looking forward to helping her settle into a new environment and to working with her,” the gaffer concluded.
The Japan international next turns her attention on leaving her mark in the Women’s Super League.
