Liverpool have secured the service of Freddie Woodman on a free transfer.
After his contract with Preston North End expired, the 28-year-old goalkeeper has reached an agreement with the Reds.
Awarded Preston’s Player of the Year for the 2022–23 season, Woodman made 138 appearances over three seasons at Deepdale.
With prior experience at Newcastle United, Swansea City, and Kilmarnock among other clubs, the Englishman is a former England U21 international.
Preparations for the upcoming season have started; he is scheduled to join Arne Slot’s side for preseason training at the AXA Training Centre next month.
