Oscar Trejo has signed a new contract to show commitment to Rayo Vallecano until 2026.
Having joined the Madrid team almost ten years ago, the Argentine midfielder has developed into a fan favourite and club legend over time.
Trejo is sixth on the club’s all-time appearance list with over 300 Rayo colours.
Most recently qualifying for European competition in May, his path with the club has included two notable promotions to La Liga.
The 37-year-old’s new agreement means he will bring his knowledge, leadership, and passion to the field for at least one more season.
Nine years of faithful service haven’t weakened his relationship with Los Franjirrojos or its followers.
