Nottingham Forest sign Jair Cunha on five-year deal

Nottingham Forest have finished Jair Cunha’s acquisition from Botafogo. A five-year agreement has been signed by the defender, therefore keeping him at the City Ground till 2030.

Cunha is the most recent South American candidate to get to the Premier League. In their transfer plan, Forests keep their attention on youth and long-term growth.

“Jair is a young talent who has shown quality during his time in Brazil,” The Garibaldis’ Chief Football Officer, Ross Wilson revealed. “We’re happy to have secured his signature.”

He continued: “Jair has flourished in Brazil and now has new ambitions as he moves to the Premier League. We know he will be warmly welcomed into the group here in Nottingham.”

With hopes great for his influence in English football, the 20-year-old’s arrival enhances the depth of Forest’s defence prior the new season.
