West Ham United have confirmed the acquisition of El Hadj Malick Diouf from Slavia Prague.
As the Hammers strengthen their left side, the 20-year-old signs for an initial £19 million fee.
Diouf impressed last year with seven goals and two assists in 27 Czech First League games.
His arrival follows Aaron Cresswell’s contract expiration, thereby leaving an opening for a left-back.
The Irons had been looking for new solutions in the position, and the Senegalese matched the profile.
Ahead of the new season, he now assumes a major role in Graham Potter’s plans.
