Luca Stephenson has committed his future to Liverpool after signing a fresh contract and will next be loaned to Dundee United for the 2025/26 season.
Winning The Terrors’ Young Player of the Season prize, the 21-year-old had a notable run with the Scottish Premiership side last season.
With three goals in 34 appearances, he was critical in their fourth-place finish and European qualifying.
Having arrived at Liverpool from Sunderland at U15, Stephenson is yet to make his senior competitive debut. But he played four pre-season friendlies this summer and got more first-team level expertise.
The midfielder got his first taste of senior football on loan at Barrow in 2023/24 before joining The Tangerines.
Having signed his first professional contract with the Reds in 2020, he now seems ready for another major season in Scotland.
