Chelsea are closing in on a deal to sell Renato Veiga to Villarreal for a fee believed to be around £26m.
The 21-year-old center-back arrived from Basel last summer in a £12m move and signed a contract running until June 2031.
He featured 18 times for the Blues, scoring twice, before spending the second half of the season on loan at Juventus, where he made 15 appearances.
Internationally, Veiga has earned five caps for Portugal since signing for Chelsea, underscoring his emerging promise on the global stage.
