Nigeria Premier Football League outstanding names from the 2024/25 season, Yusuf Anas and Coach Daniel Ogunmodede, will finally be honoured in Abuja on Tuesday, 2 September.
The ceremony was earlier delayed due to their involvement with the CHAN Eagles in preparations and competitive duties.
NPFL Chairman, Otunba Gbenga Elegbeleye, confirmed the new date.
“It has been our policy to encourage players, coaches and the entire team to elevate the quality of our league football through outstanding performances,” the Chairman revealed.
“We have consistently reward our best club richly and the highest goals scorers and best performing coach in conjunction with our investment partner, GTI Assets Management.”
Anas, representing Nasarawa United, finished the season as the top scorer with 17 goals. Ogunmodede, on the other hand, masterminded Remo Stars’ historic league triumph, the club’s first since its founding.
Both winners will each receive N1.5m alongside a commemorative plaque.
