Arsenal’s Martinelli extends incredible unbeaten record in Gunners’ shirt

Gabriel Martinelli was on target as Arsenal claimed a 3-1 victory over Bayern Munich.

The Brazilian winger continues to shine, extending his remarkable unbeaten record whenever he finds the net in red and white.

Since arriving from Ituano in 2019, Martinelli has become a fan favourite thanks to his pace and clinical finishing.

Memorable moments include a brace on his full debut against Nottingham Forest, a solo goal at Chelsea that won our 2019/20 Goal of the Season, and a late winner at Real Madrid in 2025.

Remarkably, every one of Martinelli’s 56 goals has come in matches where Arsenal avoided defeat.

Those goals span 50 matches across all competitions, with 41 wins and nine draws. No player in the club’s 137-year history comes close to this feat.

Previous record-holders Lee Dixon, Perry Groves, and Ray Parlour managed 26 games unbeaten after scoring.

The Brazilian surpassed them quickly and continues to stretch his lead.

Leandro Trossard and Kai Havertz have also recorded impressive unbeaten runs after scoring.

Trossard now sits second with 32 matches unbeaten, while Havertz has won 26 of 28 games he scored in.

Martinelli’s run also places him in the Premier League’s all-time top five for unbeaten scoring streaks.

The list is led by Gabriel Jesus, who has remained undefeated in 62 matches after scoring, 15 of which came since joining Arsenal in 2022.

With every goal, the Brazil international reinforces his status as one of Arsenal’s most electrifying and influential players.
