Ademola Lookman expressed his delight with Nigeria’s performance following their 3–2 victory over Tunisia on Saturday night at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Morocco.
The Super Eagles booked their spot in the knockout rounds of the tournament with a gritty win over their North African opponents.
They were inspired by the Atalanta star, who showcased his big-game mentality on the big stage once again with a goal and two assists for the team.
Eric Chelle’s men now have two wins from as many matches in Morocco, following their 2-1 result over Tanzania in their opening group C match.

“We dominated from the first half to the second half. They had a spell where they scored two goals, but overall we were very good today.”

Lookman grabbed his second assist of the day when his corner kick was headed home by Wilfried Ndidi early in the second half.
The Atalanta attacker then scored his second goal at this AFCON edition, getting on the end of a cutback from Osimhen to add Nigeria’s third.
Tunisia did not give up without a fight as they pulled one back through Talbi, before adding a second from the penalty spot late on.

Nigeria head into their final clash against Uganda on the 30th, hoping to seal top spot in the group.
