Bournemouth teenage forward Eli Junior Kroupi has revealed his desire to play for the biggest football clubs in the world and also win the prestigious Ballon d’Or award.
The Cherries agreed a deal to bring the 19-year-old to England in February 2025, although he spent the remainder of the season on loan at Lorient before linking up with his new teammates last summer.
Junior Kroupi has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign at the South Coast club this season, scoring eight times from 24 appearances in the Premier League, with only 13 of those games coming as a started.
His goal catalogue includes strikes against Manchester United, Tottenham and Arsenal, highlighting his impact on the big games.
Speaking in an interview, the French youngster opened up about his long-term goals as he hopes for a hugely successful career.
“I’ve had dreams of winning the Ballon d’Or and playing for the biggest clubs in the world, but it’s no longer dreams”, Junior Kroupi revealed.
“Instead, that goal is because I know it can come true. I’m working to reach where I would like to be.”
The 19-year-old opened his account this season with a goal against Leeds United in September 2025, while his last goal for the Cherries came in the 2-0 win over Wolves in January.
Junior Kroupi’s latest admission have put several European heavyweights on high alert, with the likes Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal among a list of interested clubs in his signature.
The French U21 forward would need to continue his upward trajectory if he is to achieve his career dream.
However, any club that wants to secure his services must be willing to splash a substantial amount on him, as Bournemouth hold the upper edge due to the number of years left on his contract.
For now, Junior Kroupi’s focus will be on helping the Cherries finish the season strongly, with their next match coming against struggling Burnley on Saturday.
