Kylian Mbappe’s Real Madrid exit petition explodes online

Pressure continues to mount around Kylian Mbappe after an online petition demanding Real Madrid sell the French superstar at the end of the season surged past 30 million signatures.

The viral campaign, titled “Mbappe Out,” initially targeted 200,000 signatures. However, momentum quickly snowballed across social media as frustrated supporters rallied behind the movement following another disappointing campaign for Los Blancos.

The petition urged fans to back change at the Santiago Bernabeu.

“If you believe change is necessary, do not remain silent: sign this petition and defend what you believe is best for the future of the club.”

Meanwhile, Mbappe has recently faced growing criticism off the pitch after images emerged of him holidaying in Sardinia with his girlfriend while sidelined through injury.

The Real Madrid forward is currently recovering from a hamstring problem, although his representatives insist the trip had full approval from the club.

“Part of the criticisms are based on an overinterpretation of elements related to a recovery period strictly supervised by the club,” the statement read.

“This is not corresponding to the reality of the commitment and the work that Kylian does daily for the good of the team.”

Despite the backlash, Mbappe’s numbers in Spain remain outstanding. The 27-year-old has netted 85 goals in just 100 appearances since arriving in Madrid.

However, football often moves beyond statistics, and supporters have grown frustrated with Real Madrid potentially ending a second consecutive season without lifting either LaLiga or the UEFA Champions League trophy.

As the summer transfer window approaches, debate around Mbappe’s future is now intensifying, with emotions running high among sections of the Madrid fanbase.
