Juventus enter race for Mohammed Salah’s service amid contract debacle at Liverpool

Italian giants Juventus have reportedly entered the race to sign Liverpool’s star forward, Mohammed Salah, as uncertainty looms over his future at Anfield. With the Egyptian’s contract set to expire in June, talks of a possible extension have yet to materialize, leaving Juventus poised to make their move.

The 32-year-old winger has been instrumental in Liverpool’s ascent to the top of the Premier League table this season, racking up a fantastic 17 goals and 13 assists in just 18 appearances.

However, speculation suggests Liverpool’s reluctance to offer long-term contracts to aging players might leave Salah’s future hanging in the balance.

Sky Sports News reported that Salah revealed after Liverpool’s recent win against West Ham that he had not yet received a formal contract offer from the club, further fueling rumors of a potential exit.

Juventus, keen to bolster their attack, are reportedly monitoring the situation. The Italian side intends to acquire Salah on a free transfer should he fail to agree to new terms with the Reds with the Turin-based club seeking to strengthen their squad ahead of the next campaign.

As Salah’s time at Liverpool appears increasingly uncertain, the summer transfer window could see a bidding war for one of the Premier League’s most prolific forwards. Only time will tell if Liverpool will act decisively or bid farewell to their talisman.
