France international and former Juventus Star Paul Pogba says he “can’t wait” to return to football having received “offers from all over” following his doping ban.
Pogba’s four-year doping ban was reduced to 18 months last October after the Court of Arbitration for Sport accepted it was “not intentional” when he ingested the banned substance, dehydroepiandrosterone. Now, the France international is looking forward to a return to club football and says he is not short of offers from teams.
“First of all, I can’t wait to play. You know, it’s been so long since I played football. I never imagined I’d be free at this time of the season. I’ve never really experienced a transfer like this. Today, there are offers. Coming from all over. From all over. I want to see what suits me best. Because I am in a crucial period of my life and career. It’s a decision I’m going to take the time to consider.” he told GQ.
The 32-year-old has been out of competitive football for nearly two years since testing positive for the banned substance, where he had elevated levels of testosterone, at Juventus in September 2023.
The midfielder admitted he considered retirement during his ban but now he seems raring to get back into the sport he loves. It remains unclear when the ex-United ace will return to the pitch and which team will sign him up.
