Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has dismissed speculations linking him with a move away from Old Trafford this summer, stating plainly that he expects to be in the ranks of the Red Devils next season.
Hojlund’s future has come under growing scrutiny following a disappointing Premier League season. The Denmark international managed only four league goals in a disappointing campaign that saw Ruben Amorim’s side finish 15th in the Premier League and squander a chance to secure Champions League football after losing to Tottenham in the Europa League final.
Despite his struggles in the Premier League, Hojlund reportedly remains on the radar of several Serie A clubs. Champions League finalists and Serie A runners-up Inter Milan, among a number of other potential suitors, have been linked with a potential move for the 22-year-old marksman. However, it appears Hojlund is keen on quitting Old Trafford anytime soon.

What did Hojlund say?
“I have a contract until 2030, so I expect to play for Manchester United,” Hojlund told Bold while on international duty this week.
“I’m looking forward to going on a summer vacation, and then I’m fully dedicated to the project that’s underway. As I’ve told you before, I try to stay away from all [the speculation], because it’s both for better and for worse these days.
“I know I can’t get much out of reading things, I know what the facts are, and that is that I have a contract with Manchester United until 2030 so I expect to play there. I’m just getting ready for some summer vacation and then hopefully a good pre-season.”
Does Hojlund really have a future at Man United?
Hojlund’s performance at the top of that Manchester United forward line has been anything but inspiring. The 22-year-old probably needs a more experienced striker to learn from and United are reported to be in the market for that kind of player. While the Dane has failed to impress, his talent is undeniable and a mentor might just be what he needs.
Meanwhile, United have added Matheus Cunha to their attacking ranks and are reportedly close to securing a deal for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo. Both players are versatile, capable of leading the line, and could slot into a dynamic front three alongside the likes of Amad Diallo, Bruno Fernandes or Joshua Zirkzee.
