English Premier League giants Manchester United have set a €40 million price-tag on England star Marcus Rashford.
Over the last two years, Rashford has failed to perform at a top level. In the 2022/23 season, he was one of the best forwards in the world, registering 30 goals and ten assists in 56 games. But unfortunately for him and the Red Devils, he has failed to continue with that form.
Last season, the England international contributed a paltry eight goals and five assists in 43 appearances across all competitions. His poor form also cost him his place in the starting eleven, as he was excluded from the Three Lions’ squad for the last European Championships.
This season, the English star has improved a bit, but he could still do more. Manchester United are gearing up for some squad changes following the appointment of Ruben Amorim as coach. Some players are expected to leave, and Rashford’s name has been mentioned.
The Englishman could leave Old Trafford if he does not improved significantly this season. And according to Transfer News Live, the club have set their asking price at €40 million.
Despite Rashford’s disappointing performances, it is expected that he will get some offers from other Premier League clubs. However, it is unlikely that they will let him join one of their Premier League rivals.
