Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi, has praised manager Marco Silva for his impact in the team, evident in their outstanding performances.
The Cottagers have had an impressive campaign this season as they are currently eighth on the English Premier League standings, six points behind Chelsea in fourth-place.
The Nigerian midfielder who has been revitalized this season commended the manager ‘s tactics and style for his notable improvement.
Iwobi has been one of Fulham’s best performers this season with five goals and three assists and is on course to beat his personal record for his most productive league campaign.
“He gives everyone that love and pays attention to detail. He treats everyone the same — from the players to the physios to the people in the canteen. And he always demands the best”, the 28-year old said.
Fulham have beaten London rivals Chelsea, and drawn against Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and League leaders, Liverpool in recent weeks highlighting massive improvement in the team as they have been able to compete with the top guns.
They are currently unbeaten in their past seven league matches since losing 4-1 at home to Wolves in November.
The 47-year old Silva also recently praised the Nigerian star for his stellar performances this season.
“Alex has been one of the best players so far this season, if not the best. From the first day of pre-season, he’s been so brilliant”, Silva said.
Iwobi will hope to continue his resurgent form when the Cottagers welcome 18th-placed Ipswich Town to Craven Cottage in their first match of the year on Sunday.
