Paris Saint-Germain’s South-Korean forward Lee Kang-In is currently being linked to Arsenal on a loan deal in the going transfer window.
The South-Korean player is currently on a five-year deal with the reigning French champions, having arrived from Mallorca in 2023 in a deal worth €22 million.
According to The Athletic, the 23-year old, who has featured in 24 games this season across all competitions, providing 8 goal contributions, is apparently considered his options despite regular playing time under head coach, Luis Enrique.
However, it doesn’t seem that PSG are looking to part ways with the Korean anytime soon. Kang-In is a highly valued member at the French capital given his flexible ability to play in each position across the front three, as well as the midfield, and sporadically, in the back line.
Arsenal are in the hunt to sign a new forward to boost their chances of challenging Liverpool to the title this season. However, PSG will reportedly only take an offer at least double the €22 million they spent on the former Mallorca man – a price tag Arsenal finds off-putting.
With this, the London club are now looking to negotiate a loan deal for the PSG man, with an option to buy.
