Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has expressed concerns over the Premier League’s scheduling of the club’s league match against Bournemouth.
The former Premier League champions are expected to play their penultimate game of the season on Tuesday at the Etihad, three days after their FA Cup final against Crystal Palace later today.
What happened?
Man City’s game against the Cherries was moved from this weekend due to the FA Cup final at Wembley and with only one more match-day left, the fixture is expected to hold in three days time.
The Cityzens face Palace in the Cup final on Saturday, hoping to win a silverware as a compensation for a faltering campaign.

What Guardiola said
Asked whether he would have liked to face Bournemouth on Wednesday or Thursday, Guardiola said: “Definitely.
I would prefer to play Wednesday, definitely. It will be tough. We have been nine years fighting against these situations, every single season and nothing goes”, he added.
The Spaniard cited insufficient recovery time as a reason for his outburst, with only three days between both matches.
“We are going to play Tuesday night against a most intense and physical and direct and powerful [team] in the Premier League like Bournemouth, who are playing for the Europa League or Conference qualification. So we have to deal with that.”
