Massimiliano Canzi’s tenure with Juventus Women is still expected to go on. Officially, the Italian coach’s agreement has been extended to June 30, 2027.
Following a historical first season in command, Juventus started the extension clause.
Why did Juventus extend Canzi’s contract?
“We’ve always envisioned a minimum three-year journey with the coach,” the Women’s Football Director Stefano Braghin revealed.

“This isn’t only about results in Italy or Europe. What truly mattered was Canzi’s daily work on the pitch and his instant chemistry with the club.”
His first agreement ran until June 2026. After the Bianconere won both the Serie A championship and the Italian Cup, the club triggered a one-year extension.
What the gaffer said about his journey?
“I tiptoed into the building here,” he said during his unveiling on July 9, 2024.

“Being at Juventus is a point of arrival in any coach’s career,” he continued. “But at the same time, I see this as a starting point.”
Two significant trophies in his first campaign, he followed those words with activity.
What lies ahead?
Juventus Femminile are leading the way with six Scudetti in eight years. Canzi’s leadership now has a longer runway to establish a considerably more robust dynasty.
Given his clear synergy with the club and tactical eye, the Bianconere are prepared for even greater success both at home and abroad.
