Anthony Elanga claims he is prepared to give all for Newcastle having concluded a £55 million deal from Nottingham Forest.
With a deal worth £52 million upfront plus another £3 million in performance-based add-ons, the winger joins Eddie Howe’s team.
Elanga expressed his enthusiasm for starting a fresh chapter in black and white after his transfer was approved.
“I’m excited, I’m really happy, but most importantly, I’m ready,” he remarked. “I’m ready to put on this black and white top, to fight for this team, and to give everything for the passionate fanbase that lives and breathes football.”
He continued: “I had an amazing two years at Nottingham Forest. They helped me become the player I am today”
The Swedish international registered 11 goals in 74 appearances for The Tricky Trees having joined them from Manchester United in 2023.
“The club won a trophy last season and is building something unique, something special. I want to be part of that,” he added.
“I want to buy into the culture and the DNA of this club. I’m really happy to be here and I can’t wait to get started.”
