London City Lionesses have signed Barcelona midfielder Lucia Corrales and are continuing talks with Paris St-Germain midfielder Grace Geyoro on a busy transfer deadline day.
The Women’s Super League newcomers activated Spain international Corrales’ release clause of around £430,000. They have now paid the fourth highest transfer fee in WSL history.
The 19-year-old, who made her full international debut in March but was not called up for Euro 2025, joins on a four-year deal and becomes London City’s 15th permanent signing of the summer.
Corrales was one of the first female graduates of Barcelona’s renowned La Masia academy, making her Liga F and Champions League debuts in the 2022-23 campaign, before spending last season on loan at Sevilla.
Meanwhile, London City are looking to complete a huge move for France international Geyoro, who has won 103 caps.

The 28-year-old is a key player for PSG and has been there for her entire senior career. She is widely considered one of the most exciting midfielders in Europe and has vast Champions League experience.
Geyoro started three of France’s four matches at Euro 2025, scoring twice as they reached the quarter-finals.She is believed to be pushing for a move and is not training with PSG while the two clubs hold discussions.
London City are owned by wealthy American businesswoman Michele Kang and are the first team with no affiliation with a men’s club to earn a place in the WSL. They are prepared to pay a large sum to bring in Geyoro.
Since securing promotion, London City have made a statement of intent with their summer signings, who include Jana Fernandez from Barcelona, Danielle van de Donk from Lyon, former Manchester United captain Katie Zelem and England forward Nikita Parris.
