Jude Bellingham has capped off a remarkable season by being named England’s 2024/25 men’s Player of the Year.
The Real Madrid midfielder claimed the award after finishing ahead of Harry Kane and Declan Rice in the supporters’ vote.
The Stourbridge-born player enjoyed a stellar 2024/25 La Liga season with Real Madrid, making 31 appearances and scoring 9 goals while providing 8 assists, totaling 17 goal contributions in 2,494 minutes of action. His attacking influence placed him among Madrid’s top scorers and key creators, showcasing his consistency and importance throughout the campaign.
Beyond the numbers, his blend of goals, creativity, and midfield control underlined why he has quickly become one of the driving forces in Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
It is the first time Bellingham has lifted the honour, and he joins Owen Hargreaves as only the second player to win the award while representing a non-English club. Hargreaves achieved the feat back in 2006 with Bayern Munich.
Bellingham’s performances on the international stage were just as impressive. He featured in eight matches for the Three Lions, playing a key role as England earned promotion in the UEFA Nations League.
The 21-year-old has also been central in England’s push under new head coach Thomas Tuchel as the 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign gets underway.
With his influence growing for both club and country, Bellingham’s latest accolade feels like only the beginning of even greater achievements ahead.
