Cucurella sent off as Jimenez and Wilson propel Fulham past Chelsea

Fulham defeated Chelsea 2–1 at Craven Cottage as Raul Jimenez and Harry Wilson struck, while Marc Cucurella’s red card left the Blues chasing the game with 10 men.

From kickoff, both sides looked eager to press forward, but Fulham broke through first and they did it in style.

Jimenez rose sharply and powered home, sending the home fans roaring as the tempo immediately shifted in Fulham’s favour.

As the game flowed end-to-end, Chelsea tried to counter and eventually found their equaliser through Liam Delap, finishing neatly to drag the visitors back into the contest.

However, the derby swung again and this time, decisively, when Cucurella was shown a red card. With Chelsea reduced to 10 men, the Blues were suddenly forced to sit deep, absorb pressure, and fight just to stay level.

Fulham, sensing the opportunity, pushed forward like a side chasing three massive points. Then, right on cue, Harry Wilson struck with precision, restoring the advantage and lifting Craven Cottage into full celebration mode as the match surged toward the final whistle.

The Blues tried to rally, but being a player down meant every attack came at a cost. Fulham defended with grit, managed the tempo, and ultimately crossed the finish line with a crucial derby victory that boosts confidence and keeps their campaign firmly on track.

As the dust settled, the host walked off the pitch with pride; not just because of the scoreline, but because of the resilience, energy and composure shown in a pressure-filled Premier League showdown.
