Bellingham fires back at “clowns” over Alonso fallout rumours

Jude Bellingham has moved swiftly to shut down reports suggesting he clashed with Xabi Alonso during the Spaniard’s short spell at Real Madrid, branding the claims as reckless and misleading.

Earlier this week, Alonso officially stepped down from his role at the Santiago Bernabeu after a tenure of just under eight months.

Almost immediately, speculation gathered pace, with several reports alleging that Bellingham was among a group of players unhappy with the former midfielder’s management approach.

However, shifting the narrative and taking control of the conversation, the England international addressed the rumours directly via his JB5 app. In doing so, Bellingham made his stance crystal clear and left little room for interpretation.

“Until now I’ve left far too many of these slide, always hoping the truth will come to light in its own time,” he said on his JB5 app.

“Truly feel sorry for the people that hang on to every word of these clowns and their ‘sources’.

“Do not believe everything you read, every now and then these lot need to be held accountable for speaking this kind of damaging misinformation for clicks and added controversy.”

In football, where transitions at the top often fuel speculation in the dressing room, Bellingham’s response cuts through the noise with unusual directness.

Rather than allowing the rumours to gather momentum, the midfielder opted to confront them head-on, calling out what he described as sensationalism driven by attention and traffic rather than truth.

As Real Madrid look ahead following Alonso’s exit, Bellingham’s message serves as a reminder of the fine line between reporting and conjecture.

For now, the player has firmly dismissed the idea of any internal rift, urging fans to be more cautious about what they consume and share.
