Brighton loanee Cozier-Duberry focused on Wembley glory with Bolton Wanderers

Amario Cozier-Duberry has shifted his full attention toward Wembley and promotion glory with Bolton Wanderers, despite ongoing discussions over his long-term future.

The talented winger, currently on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion, has enjoyed a standout campaign in League One and now heads into the play-offs determined to finish the season on a high.

Momentum continues to build around the 20-year-old after he swept Bolton’s end-of-season awards, collecting both the Players’ Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year prizes.

He also secured a place in the League One Team of the Season after contributing eight goals and 10 assists despite missing more than two months through injury.

As speculation over next season intensifies, Cozier-Duberry confirmed early conversations have already taken place regarding his future.

However, he insists promotion remains the immediate priority.

“I have had conversations with Brighton and with Bolton but we will just have to wait and see what the future holds. I’m not too sure yet. It’s still early days,” said Cozier-Duberry.

Meanwhile, Bolton are preparing for a crucial play-off clash against Bradford City, with the winger eager to help fire the club back into the Championship.

After a difficult loan spell at Blackburn Rovers last season, Cozier-Duberry has rediscovered his rhythm and confidence at Bolton, crediting the club for helping him mature both on and off the pitch.

“I owe them a lot. I have grown up quite a bit here.

“The players and the staff have really helped me come out of my shell.”

As the play-off battle approaches, the former Arsenal youngster is determined to leave his mark and become part of Bolton’s revival story.

“It would mean a lot to me to get this club promoted.

“It’s a really big club and it deserves to be in the Championship, possibly even higher, so it would be great for me to be a part of their history and get them back to that level.”

With silverware already collected and promotion now firmly in sight, Cozier-Duberry’s season could still finish with an even bigger prize.
