Mikel Arteta has delivered a major boost to Arsenal supporters, insisting there is no reason to worry about his future despite entering the final year of his current contract.

“It talks about the team playing and conducting, and I think it’s something that the team deserves credit for.”
Arteta knows Arsenal cannot afford to stand still.
The Premier League continues to become increasingly competitive, and the Arsenal manager expects rivals to improve again. His response is to demand even more from his own squad.
“We’re going to prefer to elevate our level, for sure, expecting that the rest will do the same, because that’s traditionally what happened in the league in the last few years. And that’s what we have planned this season, and we want to evolve it.”
