Fabio Silva has admitted his Borussia Dortmund future remains uncertain, but the Portuguese forward has made one thing crystal clear: he wants to become a more important player.
The 24-year-old remains under the spotlight amid speculation over a possible move away from Dortmund, with Turkish club Trabzonspor reportedly among the sides showing interest.
Silva was recently linked with Real Betis, but that move failed to materialise after the Spanish club opted to sign Troy Parrott instead.

“For me, I want to be more important, I want to be playing more games, of course, because everyone can see what I did last season in the minutes that I play, the assists that I give to my teammates.”
Silva also offered an insight into how he views his own playing style.
The Portuguese forward does not consider himself a traditional centre-forward whose only responsibility is to score goals.
Instead, he believes his ability to create chances, link play and move intelligently makes him a different type of attacking option.
“I think I am not a normal No.9 I am more of a nine-and-a-half. I can do assists, movement, score. I can do a lot of things. Everyone can see what I am doing.”
That versatility could become an important factor in determining Silva’s next move.
Silva made 39 appearances for Dortmund last season, scoring three goals, but his limited goal return and inconsistent starting opportunities have left questions over his long-term place in the squad.
